David C. Jukes, President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Jukes became President and Chief Executive Officer of Univar Solutions in March 2019 following Univar’s acquisition of Nexeo Solutions. He joined Univar in 2002 and served as President and Chief Operating Officer from May 2017 to May 2018 and President and Chief Executive Officer from May 2018 to February 2019. Additionally, Mr. Jukes held the Executive Vice President and President of Univar USA positions from June 2016 to May 2017, and President of Latin America (LATAM) from September 2015 to May 2017. Mr. Jukes is a 35-year veteran of the chemical distribution industry with a distinguished background of achievements. His passion for growth and proven record of success can be seen through his leadership and business acumen. Prior to joining Univar, Mr. Jukes was Senior Vice President of Global Sales, Marketing and Industry Relations, for Omnexus, a plastics industry consortium e-commerce platform. In 1991, he joined Ellis & Everard, a chemical distribution company in the UK, ultimately becoming vice president of corporate development for their polymers division. He currently serves on the board of DCC plc, a £12.3 billion international sales, marketing and support services group that is headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, and is publicly traded in the UK. Mr. Jukes is a graduate of the London School of Business.
Nicholas W. Alexos, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Alexos joined Univar Solutions in January 2020 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, bringing in-depth knowledge and expertise around market and margin expansion in the general industrial and consumer sectors.
Before joining Univar Solutions, Mr. Alexos served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer at Dentsply Sirona, Inc. where he led the growth strategy and executed successful portfolio shaping initiatives. Previously he served as a Managing Director of Madison Dearborn Partners, LLC, where he helped a wide array of portfolio companies achieve growth and margin expansion. He has served on a number of boards including VWR International, Option Care Health, Sirona Dental Systems, Team Health, Performance Health and various others. He has also served on the boards of numerous non-profit organizations including the Children's Inner City Educational Fund, Lake Forest Country Day School, MetroSquash, University of Chicago Booth School of Business Council, Boys and Girls Clubs of Chicago and the Harvard Dental School of Medicine Advisory Board.
Mr. Alexos received his bachelor’s degree in business from Loyola University, and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Carl J. Lukach, Executive Vice President of Corporate Development
Mr. Lukach became Executive Vice President of Corporate Development in January 2020 after serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since December 2014. In this role, he will lead the company’s global acquisitions and divestiture transactions, and is responsible for the indirect procurement, and information technology functions. During his five-year tenure as CFO, he led Univar’s highly successful IPO and transformation to an NYSE listed company, and significantly reducted its corporate debt. In 2018, he led the $2 billion acquisition of Nexeo Solutions and divestiture of several businesses. Before joining Univar, he held senior financial and commercial leadership positions at E.I. DuPont de Nemours & Company, Inc., including President, DuPont Asia Pacific from 2008 – 2012. Mr. Lukach began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in auditing and tax advisory services. He received his bachelor’s degree in finance from Lehigh University, a master’s degree in taxation from Widener University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Noelle J. Perkins, Senior Vice President and General Counsel and Secretary, Chief Risk Officer
Ms. Perkins has served as the Senior Vice President and General Counsel and Secretary of Univar Solutions since November 2019. She joined Univar Solutions in March of 2018 as deputy general counsel and assistant secretary, where she led global compliance and enterprise risk management programs, as well as served as the lead attorney for the USA region. Prior to joining Univar Solutions, Ms. Perkins was chief counsel for the Oilseeds Processing segment of Archer Daniels Midland Company. Other previous experience includes serving as the deputy general counsel for John Bean Technologies Corporation, a food processing machinery and airport systems equipment maker. Ms. Perkins began her career as a litigation associate with Bell, Boyd & Lloyd, which is now K&L Gates, and received her bachelor’s degree in political science from Northwestern University and a juris doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law.
Kimberly L. Dickens, Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer
Ms. Dickens became Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer of Univar Solutions in March 2019 following Univar’s acquisition of Nexeo Solutions. Prior to joining Univar in April 2018, Ms. Dickens served from March 2014 to March 2018 as Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Dycom Industries, a specialty contractor to the cable and telecommunications industry. Ms. Dickens has over 30 years of experience in Human Resources holding multiple roles of increasing responsibility where she gained broad experience in developing and managing global talent and compensation and benefits programs and shaped corporate culture to support business results. From 2008 to 2013, Ms. Dickens was the Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for Copper Standard where she aligned the human resources strategy with the corporate mission and drove key company initiatives. Ms. Dickens received her bachelor’s degree in industrial health and safety from Oakland University and a master’s degree in business administration from Lewis University.
Brian K. Herington, Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer
Mr. Herington became Chief Commercial Officer in March 2019 following Univar’s acquisition of Nexeo Solutions. In his prior role, Mr. Herington served as Executive Vice President of Chemicals at Nexeo Solutions. Mr. Herington has nearly 30 years of Industrial and Commercial experience leading complex, technology-driven businesses both regionally and globally including international assignments in the Netherlands and Brazil. Prior to joining Univar Solutions in October 2016, he served as Regional Division Head - Americas at ABB and President of Thomas & Betts, beginning in June 2011, and was President – Americas, Performance Fibers a Sun Capital business from 2009 to 2011. From 2007 to 2009, he was General Manager of the High Performance Plastics global business at SABIC Innovative Plastics and held a variety of leadership positions at GE from 1994 to 2007, including roles as General Manager, Region Manager, Product Manager, Business Development, Marketing Manager and Account Manager. He started his career at Amoco Chemical as a Sales Representative from 1990 to 1994. Mr. Herington received his bachelor’s from Illinois State University and a master’s degree in business administration from Ashford University.
Jennifer A. McIntyre, Senior Vice President and Chief Integration Officer
Ms. McIntyre was appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Integration Officer of Univar Solutions in March 2019 following Univar’s acquisition of Nexeo Solutions. Ms. McIntyre joined Univar in June 2013 as Vice President, Regional Supply Chain, and led the Company’s Supply Chain Operations for the USA business from December 2014 to December 2017. In January 2018, Ms. McIntyre was promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Operations Officer. Ms. McIntyre has more than 25 years of experience in the chemical manufacturing industry and served in several senior leadership positions at Rohm and Haas, a subsidiary of The Dow Chemical Company that manufactures specialty chemicals, and with The Dow Chemical Company, one of the world’s largest chemical manufacturers. Ms. McIntyre’s most recent role at The Dow Chemical Company was Global Supply Chain Director from January 2010 to June 2013. Ms. McIntyre earned her bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Drexel University and a master’s degree in environmental engineering from Drexel University.
Ian L. Gresham, Vice President and Chief Digital Officer
Mr. Gresham was appointed Vice President and Chief Digital Officer of Univar Solutions in March 2019 following Univar’s acquisition of Nexeo Solutions. He previously served as Univar’s Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, having joined in March 2017. Before Univar, Mr. Gresham was Senior Vice President of Marketing for the Diversified Brands division of Sherwin-Williams Co., where he oversaw brand, product and channel management for a number of the company’s top consumer brands. He joined Sherwin-Williams in April 2013 as Vice President of Marketing for Diversified Brands, Paint & Sundries. Mr. Gresham has also held leadership roles of increasing responsibility in product and channel marketing with Apex Tool Group, Danaher and Black & Decker. Prior to beginning his commercial career, Mr. Gresham served as a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Gresham received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Maryland and a master’s degree in business administration from Harvard Business School.
Mark M. Fisher, President USA
Mr. Fisher became President of the Company’s USA business segment in March 2019 following Univar’s acquisition of Nexeo Solutions. Prior to joining Univar in January 2018, he was with Owens & Minor (O&M), a US-based healthcare distribution and medical supply company, as its Vice President & General Manager for Clinical and Procedural Solutions in the U.S. Mr. Fisher joined O&M in 2011 as Regional Vice President for the central region. In 2013, he was promoted to Vice President overseeing O&M’s domestic DC Network. Prior to O&M, Mr. Fisher worked for McKesson Corporation’s U.S. Pharmaceutical division as Director of Sales, Director of Operations and finally Vice President and General Manager of their Mid-South Area. Before McKesson, he worked for BriteSmile and AT&T in various sales and operations management roles. Mr. Fisher received his bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Purdue University and a master’s degree from San Diego State University. Upon graduating from Purdue, he served over nine years in the U.S. Navy.
Nicholas Powell, President Europe, Middle East and Africa & Asia Pacific
Mr. Powell became President of the Company’s Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) & Asia Pacific (APAC) business segment in March 2019 following Univar’s acquisition of Nexeo Solutions. He is an industry veteran with nearly 30 years in the chemical industry. He joined Univar in 2009, establishing the company’s Middle East and Africa businesses and grew its footprint including by leading the acquisition of our Turkey business. In 2014, Mr. Powell assumed leadership of EMEA’s Focused Industries where he has taken those businesses to new growth levels. In addition to EMEA, he continues to lead Univar’s APAC operations, which he successfully returned to profitability after assuming their leadership in late 2015. Prior to joining Univar, Mr. Powell has spent more than 20 years in the chemicals industry, primarily in the water treatment chemicals and construction chemicals fields.
Jorge C. Buckup, President Latin America
Mr. Buckup became President of the Company’s Latin America segment in November 2017. Mr. Buckup joined Univar in January 2012 as Vice President, Finance of Univar Brazil, and later on served as Vice President, Finance of Latin America until November 2017. Prior to Univar, Mr. Buckup held the CFO role for the joint venture between Dow/Mitsui in Brazil. He previously spent 18 years in a variety of roles with Dow Chemical in both the Audit and the Accounting groups, as well as serving as the Business Finance global leader for the Engineering Plastics business. While at Dow, he lived and worked in Michigan for eight years and worked on-site with various projects on five continents. He also served as a member of the Ethics & Compliance Committee of Dow Chemical in Latin America. Mr. Buckup earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo, and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan. He has also completed a General Management program at the University of Michigan.
